About me
I've been a doula since 2011. I believe every mother and father I work with deserves personalized care of the highest quality, and that is the kind of care I work hard to provide. Just as every person is a unique individual, each mother needs to give birth in her own unique way. I am not trying to create my ideal birth for my clients. Instead, I try to facilitate their ability to birth in the way that works best for them.
I offer practical suggestions for labor, birth and postpartum to make the process easier and simpler. I want to help mothers feel more comfortable and more at home during a time that is unpredictable and sometimes scary.
I am a DONA certified doula, and I have worked with first time moms and moms adding another new baby to their family. I have experience with medicated and unmedicated birth, VBAC, inductions, and cesarean birth, as well as a variety of high risk pregnancy conditions and complications. I enjoy learning about birth, and I am constantly seeking to learn new labor support skills and stay current in the birth world. My special interests in the field of birth include working with VBAC moms and mothers who want natural birth.
As a Christian, I carry my life mission to love all people into my work as a doula. I love to celebrate new life with parents because I believe life is a priceless gift from God.
My husband and I have four beautiful children, who entered the world via c-section, HBAC (home birth after cesarean), and waterbirth VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) in the hospital.
I live in Fayetteville, and serve families in Fayetteville, Newnan, Griffin, Peachtree City, McDonough, Riverdale, and the greater South and Metro Atlanta area.
